Going through my bird phase in a big way.
I think the administration is going to have to back down on this and throw some people under the bus, and will find their immediate response of calling the murder victim a dangerous terrorist is going to be the worst thing they could have done. Of course they won't learn anything from it, but still.

To every person who has said "power comes from the barrel of a gun" with a smirk, today is clear evidence of why it doesn't. They've been trying to make that true and it's not happening. We are going to win. Every loss before we get there will be a tragedy, but we are going to win.

I keep thinking “my god the people they’ve killed seem like exceptionally good folks” and I think the lesson there is that they’re not exceptional, but that wonderful people abound and that a baseline distrust in humanity is a shitty conservative trope that privileges power over collective strength
you don't become a martyr because you were a saint, you become a saint because you were martyred
I agree that we can’t make Alex Pretti a Benedictine monk because that’s a trap, but we can talk about the good things we did because people will see and hear them and think “I do those things too”

The more I think of it the less I think the solution is gas stations and the more I think it's gravel pits.

Very glad I'm not in ice storm country and I can go hang out in the Botanical Garden today because I think I need that.

We are going to need so many fucking gas stations.

I'm under no illusion that if everything breaks it's going to end up good for anyone, but don't these idiots understand that they have so much more to lose? Set for generations and they are going to throw it all away because they saw an African become a citizen of America?

You promised me, Penguin, that you would
walk with me always. Why, when I have needed you most, have you not been there for me?" The Penguin replied, "The times when you have seen only one set of snowprints, my child, is when I carried you."
Apart from anything else there are no penguins in Greenland. Unless he’s invading the South Pole too….

With ice abusing license plate lookups and such, when are they going to start swatting people? Feels like something those chuds would find funny.

I know, I know, bigger issues and all, but blocking out the arresting officer's face says so much about Noem and this whole administration. "We are big and strong and inevitable, yet deeply terrified that someone might actually stand against us in any form."
It appears that the White House edited this image using AI

I've Got Far Too Many Sexual Hangups, So Why Is It All Anybody Seems To Remember Is When I Fucked a Piece of Liver?
On the other hand I think it would be very funny to retitle literary fiction light novel style. “Oh No! This Author Stand-In is Unhappily Married”
This attitude is how you end up with light novel titles.

Yes I have a horrible person, but ordering something called "Kickled Radish Noodle Soup" off the menu will always make me giggle inside.

When I see approval numbers separated by party, sure the Republicans still, more or less, like him, but a large chunk of the ones that don't are clearly calling themselves independents now, and they weren't a year ago.
Why read past headlines: This isn't about the approval numbers. This is about party ID, which I think matters even more.

When people start to disassociate from a party, it shows they are feeling shame. Bigger deal than mere disapproval.

Reading people complaining about their bird being "skiddish" always makes my toes curl in pain. (Also it's not skittish, it's a wild prey animal that you are trying to treat like a puppy.)

I have never heard Bovino talk and oh my god it's not just short man's complex is it.
Bovino: "Think about it just for a second -- what the rape of a child actually entails"
