To be clear, rhabdo can be caused by things beyond simply overworking. I don't think it would be wise to immediately blame the performance or coaching staff of the Indiana Fever. There could be other variables at play that caused Mitchell to suffer the unfortunate condition beyond their control.

Rhabdomyolysis is much more severe than simple muscle cramping. Luckily Mitchell was provided prompt treatment and fluids. I can't recall a professional athlete suffering from rhabdo during a game before. Usually it happens when athletes are pushed well beyond their physical limits.

1. Too small of a stadium
2. No white players
3. No Uconn alums
