Exactly. The arguments that #BasicIncome will let people sit around and do "nothing" are firmly rooted in the LIE that the only appropriate adult human activity is selling your labor to others, and JEALOUSY that someone else might not have to work themselves to the bone.
What do you mean by "nothing"? I think it will allow people the freedom to create: to write, paint, sculpt, sing, all the other wonderful human endeavors that we tend to lack time for while working 60+ hours and still go broke. That's far from nothing.

I can't get over the fact that they scheduled a televised Cabinet meeting, hyped it as a major event, planned it all out to show how active and in control Trump is ... and then he dozed off in the middle of it. Repeatedly.
