Maybe membrane? But I'm not sure how either of those concepts maps to the structure shown. I do like being able to distinguish between that and point, on here we're just calling lamelli connected/multiple point access blocks or something awkward like that

Interesting terminology when I try to trace equivalents. If I have it right:
- Plate ("lamella" is technically in the English dictionary but I have never heard it in any context)
- Side corridor
- Point
- Central corridor
- Terrace

I don't really understand how Japan forms minority governments. Literal minority, not confidence-and-supply. In many countries the head of state can exercise judgment, but emperor doesn't do that. Do they just all get to the consensus "this coalition has 45% of seats & no one is going to get more?"
