A.C. Gilbert, the American inventor who created the Erector Set & other educational toys, was born #OnThisDay in 1884.

Perhaps the most (in)famous of Gilbert's creations was the Atomic Energy Lab, which let kids perform over 150 exciting experiments w/radioactivity!

Schon Sorbisch. Ortsnamen im Westen Sachsens als allgemein "slawischer" oder halt "wendischer" Herkunft zu bezeichnen, anstatt klar zu sagen, aus welcher Sprache sie entspringen (Sorbisch!) ist auch so eine Strategie. Die "Surbi" tauchen in den Quellen das erste Mal an der Saale auf!

There’s no room for Black, Hispanic/Latino, Asian, Native, Jewish or all other Americans in Musk’s monocultural vision.

Ich lese gerade einen aufschlussreichem Text über die gesellschaftliche Mitte als tatsächlichen Ort der rechten Radikalisierung. Es wird argumentiert, dass wir keinen Rechtsruck erleben, sondern eine Aktivierung von Ansichten, die schon da waren. Mit den vielen Krisen als Auslöser.
