I'm not exactly someone who thinks PS1 texture warping somehow improves the experience of retro gaming per se but I do think being the kind of person who makes a big deal out of it marks one out as, diplomatically, "not the target audience" and undiplomatically as "irritatingly fussy"

This always strikes me as two things converging:
A) Players who were too used to playing PS1 games on emulators before jitter was an option.
B) Players who spent $1,200 on a PC for "better graphics" but misunderstand art as a whole. All they know are AAA game sliders and fugly HD texture packs.

God I hate remaster/remake culture. Losing my mind at how many reviews/comments I've seen that complain about the vertex jitter in the new version of R-Type Delta.
"Wobbly polygons" are part of the charm, aesthetic, and visual identity of PS1 games.

How is it 3 weeks in? Depression from the initial injections have gone away. Sex is more satisfying again. Skin is somehow even softer. My breasts are more sensitive, and both areolas are consistently inflated.
Maybe it's working better than the pills? We'll see with more blood tests in 3 weeks.

HRT Update: After a lot of running around last Friday, (Multiple pharmacies were out of meds!) I got my Estradiol Valerate. Promptly took my first injection the following morning, after reading for an hour.
We'll see how this works over the next six weeks. Sticking yourself is kind of scary.

I'm delighted with DOSBox Pure so far. Setting up a Windows 98 SE VM hasn't been this easy before! 💙
There are some PC games that haven't played nicely with Windows since Win2000. Nor do they have recomps or fan-made patches to preserve them.
It's not nostalgia, I still want to play these games 💙

Yes, you really do need to change the injection site every single time, and keep the needle pressed in for 10-15 seconds before pulling it out.
*All* of the estradiol oozed out of the site. I had to wipe it clean and reinject elsewhere 💔

Pro: My breast growth might be back on track? (They feel painful to touch again.) And my skin is even more sensitive.
Con: My anxiety gnaws at me when I'm alone at night. Two depressive episodes so far. I hope it subsides, I don't feel like myself 💔

HRT update: My bloodwork shows while my estrogen went up, it still isn't where it needs to be. My NP says we need injections, not more pills.
After some back-and-forth with the pharmacy over the wrong estradiol, I can pick it up soon.
I am excited, but I dread adjusting to 4x my current E levels 💦
