The Mississippi Supreme Court has ruled 8-1 that a trans teen cannot legally change their name until they turn 21 solely because they are trans despite having the support of both parents. This is unconscionable.

Immigration judges are part of the executive branch and are no longer protected from the president. If they had not ruled this way, they would've been removed from their position. There is no more justice to be found in immigration court.

i don't even think anyone who cites the cass report as an authority actually read it. it could have just been 12,239 pages of lorem ipsum and its proponents would talk about it exactly the same as they do now
Remember: Cass is not peer-reviewed - and is therefore not “gold”, silver, bronze or even recycled plastic standard.
IMO it’s just pseudoscience.
There are now at least five damming, peer-reviewed critiques of Cass; all automatically of a higher standard, with at least two more in peer-review.
