Walking out on the Oceanside pier was always energizing. The movement of the ocean, the surfers, the sky... and for me, of course, I loved to see the brown pelicans hoping for an easy snack. This one stared me down - we were warned not to get too close.

I didn't have a chance to design a new cashmere cowl this year for Rhinebeck, which was a bummer. So here's a look back at the past 2 years of cowls: Skybridge and Newburg. I've just added both patterns to my Etsy and website.

I can't knit much right now, so I'm crocheting more... I found some deliciously dark yarn at Rhinebeck and started a Fall River shawl. And of course I can't stop making Octodot cowls - this one is sparkly!
