Judge: I will not modify TRO from Saturday, but I will issue a new TRO that will prohibit any deployment of federalized NG under Trump/Hegseth's control.

Kennedy, Rile, and Turco all think that scope is appropriate.

What a line from the Pope! I am so pleased he is carrying on Pope Francis’ advocacy for immigrants.

More pointedly, the pope said, "Someone who says, I'm against abortion, but is in favor of the death penalty is not really pro-life. Someone who says, I'm against abortion but I'm in agreement with the inhuman treatment of immigrants in the United States, I don't know if that's pro-life."

Today in #warravaged Portland, I planted ornamental kale and pansies into the containers flanking my front porch. Flushes of cedar waxwings sing from the treetops and we wave at the neighbors walking their dogs while tanks roll down the street.
