Totally forgot, but I finally finished my witchsona I started in *checks notes* 2016

the fastest way to kill motivation is to make your identity depend on the outcome. it's called ego involvement. when failing becomes failing as a person, your brain starts avoiding the whole thing. not because you don't care, but because you care too much.

you don't need lower standards. you need less self-worth tangled up in your goals. the work gets easier when it's not about proving who you are.

As someone who is also somewhere on the ace spectrum (of the “It’s Complicated” variety)- yup. Yup. Yuuuuuup. While I dislike identity politics, how I’ve been treated due to my identity has dramatically shaped my worldview.

As a bisexual (using the genders like mine and genders not like mine definition) who has had to deal with a fair amount of discrimination both within and without the queer community, I’m honestly for abolishing these terms wholesale, as they truly have served to other me even from my own community
