Congratulations to Eileen Higgins on being elected Mayor of Miami! The first Democrat elected to this position in decades, she understands what politics is about: building a safer, more affordable, and better everyday life.

Ok starting a new conspiracy theory. Leavitt is a fucking robot. This is the kinda answer you’d expect from chatGPT on a bad day.
Q: You said that second strike was in accordance with the law of armed conflict, but the Navy's own manual says that firing on survivors from a wrecked vessel is an example of a war crime

LEAVITT: I would reiterate that the strike was conducted in accordance with the law of armed conflict

I remember reading 1984 in school and wondering why the f anyone would want a telescreen in their house spying on them, and then people started buying Ring cameras, and now I have more questions.

So if the White House now hates CBS news, does that mean it’s okay to watch CBS News again?

Fuck that’s smart
Although Trump has the broad power to grant a pardon or commutation to Maxwell, Raskin’s resolution would “put House members on record opposing a pardon for Maxwell, adding pressure to the White House if the chamber votes overwhelming in favor”

A top House Democrat pushes to oppose Ghislaine Maxwell pardon
Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Maryland) introduced a symbolic measure to put House members on the record opposing a pardon for Jeffrey Epstein’s accomplice.

Trump: orders investigation and to publicize democrats listed in the Epstein files. Forgets he was a democrat back then.

‘Course the first insult Trump could think up was from the 50’s. Sucks to your ass-mar, Trump.

One theory I haven’t heard suggested about why Trump reversed on the Epstein files I think is a fairly obvious one. Survey says: He forgot that he’s in it.

If Mamdani=bad and MTG=good, then you’re not a democrat. You’re not even centrist. You’re just a regular ol’ conservative who puts politics before people.

To answer your question, if Clinton is implicated in the Epstein files, then I will have to throw out my “putting people first” hat and flags, scratch off my dozen Clinton-Gore bumper stickers (plus the Calvin peeing on George Bush window decal), and burn my cardboard Bill Clinton cutout.

Schumer can be removed from his Dem leadership role this week - 23 Dems (and/or independents) just have to vote to depose him

And they should, given this is his fault.
This is a lovely sentiment but Schumer isn't up for re-election until 2028 and he knows this. At which point he will be 77/78. There's no mechanism to recall a sitting senator AFAIK.
Let’s be clear: Chuck Schumer is the one ending this shutdown, no matter how the votes read.

Chuck Schumer is claiming that he’s voting no, while letting other Senators (Fetterman, Kaine, King, etc) do HIS dirty work.

He must be removed from his leadership & primaried for the sake of this country

One of the unacknowledged advantages of this awful era is that it's revealing for all to see the putrid connections between great wealth and great power.

The intentions of the oligarchs are fully exposed and more blatant than ever.

But remember: We outnumber the oligarchs.
