While we await what I’m sure will be a classy, elegant new Kennedy Center…

May I suggest Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis as a temporary replacement?

We have a world class venue and orchestra! Near enough Target HQ to flip the bird.

The city and citizens of Minneapolis could sure use the support.

“What’s a good reason NOT to track how many kids using @GovBillLee’s vouchers were already in private schools?”🤷🏼

We asked Republicans why they wouldn’t back the @jeffyarbro.bsky.social & McKenzie bill to require tracking it.

None had an answer. (Spoiler: because it’s most of them)

Every Democratic governor, attorney general, senator and House member needs to stand up and loudly say in unison: Enough. Trump's war on Americans must end.
I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening.

The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.

This book is a memoir by New Yorker staff writer, John Seabrook, about his rich, unscrupulous, and bigoted grandfather and father but there is so much food politics in it that it belongs on my must-read list.  It's also a riveting story, well told.

Turns out that incorrectly telling the American people that masked goons have absolute immunity to do whatever they want to them is not a particularly popular position.
Vance on Jan. 8: "You have a federal law enforcement official engaging in federal law enforcement action. That's a federal issue. That guy's protected by absolute immunity."

Vance today: "I didn't say that officers who engaged in wrongdoing would enjoy immunity. That's absurd."
