my friends and I spread #isopodtober over 15 alternating days to avoid us burning out, but I will try and upload some old #isopod art here on the off days! so have a PRIDE-SOPODS from last year 🏳️‍🌈

#isopodtober day one!! Let's GO
A cartoony rendition of two isopods done with brush pens and sharpie for the outline. The brush strokes are a bit messy and clearly visible. The isopod on the left is grey (armadillidium vulgare) and wields a sword that sparkles with holy magic. The isopod on the right is black with yellow spots (armadillidium gestroi) and is casting a fiery magical spell. They are facing each other and looking quite vicious (at least as vicious as cute cartoony isopods can).

thank you!! <3 I definitely mixed a lot of colors to try and get it to match but I luckily also find it very meditative to just add paint together to see what color it makes 🧘‍♂️
