The stated reason for ICE agents being in Minnesota is because of the ongoing fraud claims around daycare and other services.

2026 NWSL Competition Calendar is up. One change since the "2026 Schedule Footprint" announcement in July is Decision Day has been shifted from the weekend of October 31st-1st to October 24th-25th. Two weeks off to the NWSL Quarterfinals and no FIFA windows affecting the postseason.

It's pretty wild to see big companies in 2026 still thinking they can just ostrich for a few days and everything will blow over when we've already got years upon years of evidence that everything and everyone who collaborates with Trump gets wrecked in the end
Tim raises a great point here - we should ask all CEOs and company leaders what level of tolerance their org has for CSAM and non-consensual media made by the platforms they use. Epic is okay with "a small amount", which is apparently around 150k images/day? we should probably follow up with him.

Especially since it's mainly the people w/ the most political voice & power (meaning white people) that tend to be the loudest doomers. Marginalized groups w/ less power have fought long, hard, dangerous fights for centuries & are still fighting but many white people are preemptively tapping out

The only way the next democratic administration is going to do anything even somewhat resembling reforming and rooting out lawless thugs from ICE and elsewhere is due to sustained popular pressure. Otherwise, the instinct from the Dem elite to just turn the page and move on is going to be massive

One of the top replies under an image on X of Renee Good's body slumped over in her car after an ICE agent shot her is another user asking Grok to put her body in a bikini. Grok then generated the image.

Heif [USWNT PR chief Aaron Heifetz] definitely mentioned it to me. And sometimes, especially coming from England and working in a league where it's organized so much differently, sometimes it takes me a little bit longer to understand the implications of certain things.
I know that the NWSLPA and the league are trying to work through that criteria. I'd say it's between them to try and do that.
But when it comes to whether that influences playing time or should affect that, nothing will change with me and the way that I'm doing things regardless of any ruling that's put in place.
To be honest with you, it's probably going to be a little bit longer until they resolve what that criteria is. Whether it ends up being that or something else, you'd have to ask them.
