One slight difficulty I have is that, even when we try to remember "forgotten" games and cultures, we often talk mainly about the United States.

I'm personally keen to remember the Collective Endeavour (Scotland and UK) as well as The Forge. And there'll be other movements in other countries too.

Learning to cook at home is not about following exact recipes but about gaining the skills and knowledge to improvise. Proper cooking wisdom is knowing when you don’t have lemons, if limes will do just fine. Because even if you don’t get exact authentic flavors, it’s probably gonna be good anyway.
