I don't know how 'desperate' or 'sad' it is to be still thinking about someone weeks after I've met them. But what I do know is that it feels really nice to think about her. I've got that behind me at least.

it's interesting to get a glimpse into a space or industry you're interested in and be utterly humbled by not understanding half the terminology 😭
SVMs are the only moral type of machine learning, which is why they’re still taught in ML classes. Unlike next token prediction, they are inherently good

Seriously. Like, a disproportionate amount of fetish content keeps finding its way onto my Discover. I've blocked terms, given repeated post feedback both "Show more" and "Show less". Is the Bluesky algorithm just bad?

Is Bluesky ever going to pick up on the pattern of me not being interested in 🔞 accounts? Could really do without seeing them. Exclude term doesn't work on account names.

I think the one thing holding back BlueSky's algorithm is the fact that is can't seem to identify synonymous terms. "HL3" and "Half-life 3" will return different results, as there's no overarching 'topic' to pair them under.

My guess is that the game will likely open with Gordon experiencing the events of Alyx as they change Ep2, or continue on from the ending of Alyx and leave the changed timeline unstated until GMan stuff starts happening later.
if they did actually make half life 3 whats the percentage of people that play it and get really confused because a vr game that no one has access too changed the cliffhanger to a completely different one

BlueSky really is better than the bird app in regard to this issue. I feel understimulated by comparison and it's helping so much.
My only issues are that the algorithm feels too static and slow to respond to my interests. I need more popular posts to engage with.

I took social media apps off my phone. I look at these sites a lot less & it's felt like my brain is healing.
I've come to believe it's no coincidence that this society's smartest, most talented & creative people are barely on these sites. They are protecting their brains.
