I am reminded of Karl Rove breaking into his own Republican campaign headquarters during George W Bush's gubernatorial campaign and claiming Democrats did it. Rove wagged the dog right before voting day and Bush won.

Until Rs are punished for their hijinks, they will continue them.

I think it's fine to end that tradition and use it to uplift a person that doesn't just affect world events, but actually makes the world a better place.

They don't need to hold sway like he does. They're currently locking everything down so Republican fascists will be the only game in town. He's the catalyst and once the reaction finishes, the results will be irreversible.

We're not done with their coup when Trump is gone; it's just the beginning.

The problem is all of the others that support him. Vance might be President next; we'll still have an enormous problem on our hands when Trump shakes off his mortal coil. He's not really the one who's running this.

I think the idea that we must hide from bad things is, in part, how we got here. Televising the Vietnam War brought the reality of the brutality right into American living rooms and helped end the war.

It's important to see footage like this lest we forget or ignore what is happening.

Yes, Hitler didn't simply round up Jewish people; he also went after the Roma, disabled, gay men, Jehovah's Witnesses and Poles. There was always someone to send to the ovens...
