Editorial: Scott Morrison’s last and only meaningful acts in parliament were about securing his first opportunities outside it. AUKUS is less a security partnership and more a one-man superannuation scheme. satpa.pe/K2fKgAv
The one-man super scheme
Of all the things Scott Morrison does not understand, and the list is long and often embarrassing, somewhat in the shape of his prime ministership, China would rate very close to the top.

For $700 billion we can maybe buy a few submarines we won't be able to use without permission from the USA or we could fund CSIRO for 700 years.

“If anyone was hoping for significant economic reform to improve Australia’s outlook, to realise this nation’s enormous potential, hope buried Monday 13/10 when Treasurer Chalmers announced PM Albanese’s reformed superannuation reform.”

It was Jim Chalmers’ superannuation reform but we get Anthony Albanese’s reform of the reform - Government is risk-adverse and incremental

James Paterson is a nepo-baby Liberal since he was 17, an IPA disinformation stooge, and hasn't had a real job in his life. Why anyone platforms him is a mystery. #auspol

Trumpty Dumpty reckons he's brought peace to the Middle East for first time in 3,000 years.

Apart from the 3,000 years bit, it's odd to hv a peace agreement with non-combatants only bc Israel & Hamas did not attend his peace summit in Egypt.

There are already cracks in the ceasefire.

We’re building thousands of new homes across the country, including 100,000 exclusively for first home buyers.

And we're training more tradies with Free TAFE, to help build them.

Because every Australian deserves the security of a place to call home.
