What difference would that make? Both are just platforms of hot garbage, and a complete waste of time.

That wasn't a difficult guess but I got all three correct.
When the police and ICBC team up for road safety "advice," they will always place responsibility entirely on the most vulnerable users. With my crash (which nearly killed me), the police left it up to us to charge the driver or not, and we couldn't even get a copy of the police file.
I get that take, but my issue is that it just makes the arbitrary barring of entry or kicking people out for no reason beyond them wanting to, easier all the time. It's just another indication that the country doesn't respect people's rights and freedoms. In most cases they also don't need to.
If anyone is looking for a mortgage broker, we had stellar service from Kam at Auxilium Mortgage. We reconnected when we came back almost a year ago. Our application had challenges associated with my early retirement, and he still came through like a champ. Highly recommend. DM for contact info.
CBC should stop setting their hair on fire about every comment Trump makes. He's an amoral jackhole.

There's never going to be a decent trade deal. Trump is using tariffs to try and break Canada economically.

The entire focus should be new markets and surviving the tariffs until Trump is gone.
This guy goes to a pub, kills a pedestrian, panics, flees the scene, then lies about how his SUV was damaged, and all he needed to do was write a letter to get no jail time.

The alcohol, fleeing, and lying alone should have warranted jail time.

Certain life events that happened to me about 18 months ago taught me the value of not putting off until tomorrow what I want to do today, and coupled with the impact those events had on me, I just couldn't go back to work. Plus my employer offered a small $ incentive to retire early.
We are both newly retired, so this one had better be our "forever" home. Fairly new and decent space is a good start.
I don't think we saw one place in Victoria that wasn't "extremely lived in," and we've been looking for a few months.
Our main goal was finding something that we knew would be affordable in our retirement now that we're both on pensions, new ish if possible, and definitively not in the car sewer that defines Langford. It became pretty clear that anything in Victoria was going to require a lot of work.
Having said that, it doesn't take very long to get to it. I can go along ocean Blvd and then up a little Hill and hit the Goose where it turns into Wale Rd, if you know the area all at all. Our address is only 17 km from downtown Victoria so not far in the grand scheme.
Not quite as close as I'd like, we are in Royal Bay. While it is pretty uniform from a townhouse perspective, we've really had the biscuit with living right in Victoria, with the tourists and the noise. We also found most places were really lived in overpriced and had high strata fees.
We bought a townhouse, only 6 years old, and completely move-in condition.
So it begins again ... But hopefully this will be the last time for a while.
Whatever you say, Homer. Keep defending the guy who's been suspended six times, almost entirely for shitty cheap shots. Sorry, but I don't give an asshole like that the benefit of the doubt. It was late and high.
