Alessandra suffers from PTSD due in part to her mother's death and nearly dying herself getting revenge. She also really struggles with adhd; her impulses have gotten her into a lot of trouble throughout her life, not to mention the emotional dysregulation that often manifests as anger

I don't think Alessandra really believes in soulmates much. Maybe for the way she never had many close connections in the Alienage, how divided and fractured the community was around her and her mother. Arranged marriages don't create soulmates, either

While I'm not a fan of DATV, I will say this:
Alessandra meeting Crookytail II (literally Crookytail's offspring) would cause her to fall to her knees and sob. The greatest gift isn't just the griffons being alive once more, it's meeting the offspring of her hero's griffon, over 400 years later 😭

I have sat on these feelings for a while but I have finally figured out why I haven’t enjoyed Pokemon games in a hot minute despite it being my favorite IP. It’s not just performance or the dex being incomplete between gens. Something has been bothering me with the tone.

Alessandra is usually more likely to be angry and lash out before breaking down in tears. She feels strongly about many things, and sometimes she cannot help how powerful her feelings are as a very neurospicy person. But because she's a private person she prefers crying in private
