As I prepared to erase [twitter] I realized I couldn't leave Dad behind when his values meant so much to me: he belongs here, I hope y'all don't mind.
This is a reproduction of a thread from Dec 2019 that reminds me to stand with my neighbours. And yes, he was laid to rest in a toolbox.

I'm old.

If you're not, listen to this.

Get a guitar or some drums, or a trumpet. Pick up a brush, a pencil, some clay or a welder.

Just make shit. It doesn't have to be good (eventually it will be) just make music, art or write or whatever.

It's literally never been more important.

Canada needs to go full in on next gen green energy.

We have the know-how.

Now we need the vision and backing to do it, and stop the US from buying it and siphoning it down south.

Oil and gas are last century's resources.

Let's harness Canadian brains to build for the future, not the past....

Accurate. Perhaps a bit TOO accurate
Twitter accounts are based in Russia. BlueSky accounts are based in homes with, frankly, too many books, plants, obsolete cables, and pieces of rustic pottery, that could do with a bit of a tidying up, to be honest.

'Bout sums it up
If I’m understanding this correctly, X is owned by a white nationalist who pays poor people of color in developing countries to pretend to be working class white Americans to scare other white Americans into being afraid poor people of color from developing countries are going to ruin America?

Agreed.
If you’re a journalist who’s still on Twitter, from now on in your writing you have to replace “the American people want” with “troll bots in Eastern Europe demand”

Being there makes your judgment suspect. I don’t care how savvy you think you are, you’re marinating in a disinformation campaign.

I'm having issues rationalizing why some of these words are paired with each other
For example "AI/sustainable" only go together if you set aside the MASSIVE environmental footprint of processing centers. The outcome of which directly contradicts preventing natural disasters. I thought he was smart.
“Canada has listed five priorities for the summit: improving critical mineral supply chains, using AI for sustainable development, preventing wildfires and natural disasters, reforming development funding and debt, and advancing gender equality through economic growth.”
