The 2026 Barkley Marathons began with one of the strongest fields ever. The starting field came from 15 Counties as well as 15 States, and included ten women. The course seemed not to care. Over 70% of the field is done. #BM100

I got my 4th bike when I was 8, just like any other ordinary Dutch person.
5th at 12
6th at 20 or so (used to be my mom’s, my brother uses it now. It’s 38 years old)
7th at 26 (first race bike, still have it in NL)
8th at 34 (race bike in TH)
9th at 35 (MTB in TH)

A few kids asked me 6-7 and I told them today is the 7th. Naah I’m not delulu, those kids recognize a sigma aura farming when they see one. And I’m definitely not skibidi toilet in my cycling outfit. #hellofellowkids
