Spent a week rewriting my game in C#, only to realize that GDScript is _fine_, I just structured everything badly
My main goal was to be able to use the niceties of C# like interfaces etc for components, but I ran into a lot of cases where Godot APIs won’t accept objects using those features

Do any #godot #gamedev folks have any suggestions for implementing a component system that allows attaching behaviors to nodes without the parent needing to do much work? I.e. attaching a “is_metal” child to a node that makes its parent react to magnetism, with minimal wiring required?

I asked Schumer about this last night and his answer was basically that they’re wrong.
The American Federation of Government Employees, which represents 800,000+ federal and D.C. workers (i.e. people directly impacted by a government shutdown), is urging senators to vote no on the House GOP's CR.
In other words, AFGE is saying a government shutdown is less bad than this GOP bill.
