32 years is pretty even win distribution given the number of teams in MLB. By the time you're 108 it should be a given, unless you subscribe to the Vancouver Canucks equity of championships philosophy.
I mean I also shit post I guess. We're probably around the same on the scale just off of my own intuition. But you could probably find reason to fire 99% of sports team owners into the fires of hell without much resistance. I suppose I could meet them there.

Most of the players aren't Canadian, and the team is owned by a giant company that recently made 100s of employees become contract workers to keep their jobs, and then fired them anyway. Why exactly, as a Canadian, am I supposed to feel anything for the entity that is the Blue Jays? I don't get it.

I think sports teams should always be owned by the municipalities they play in, rather than by billionaires & corporations who take advantage of local pride while basically acting as parasites.

I'd care if a team owned by a Canadian city had lost. I just don't care that a team owned by Rogers lost.
Look the Dodgers have like twice the payroll of the Jays. The fact that they went to extra innings in G7 is a miracle. But they were up 3-0. They were tied bottom of the 9th with the bases loaded. Every sport is a game of inches but it really felt like Toronto should have had this. All good.
Honestly even though I am an avowed Toronto hater this is the way I see it. I was certain it'd be a 4 game sweep. That it got this close it almost seemed like destiny. That they lost the way they did felt like some sort of Toronto sports curse but I mean really making the dodgers look sus is a win
I mean forgive me if your team didn't win but one team always wins and one team always loses and its just sports. I'm not even celebrating the dodgers for winning! I said I was sad for my friends that might be sad! But this is an all-timer. They should be proud! The dodgers have twice their payroll!

Toronto, you will not taste victory until you sacrifice Drake

well, at least Drake lost a ton of money tonight
Already caught a block from a Canucks fan for this lol. C'MON GUYS IT'S JUST A SPORTSBALL.
To be clear I was cheering for the Mariners but I honestly don't much care about baseball. I would've been happy for the Blue Jays to win which is pretty stark from my firm anti Toronto bias. But honestly this is an absolute world class choke job that is only fitting for Toronto to own.
I am a world class Toronto hater including the Jays. That one felt like finally Toronto was gonna come through though. HOWEVER. A world class choke job that might eclipse any in Toronto sports history. I am sad for my friends who are sad but the legend of Toronto being losers continues unabated.
@harsunderhunjan.bsky.social I forgot to register my first goal of the game pick. Unsurprisingly, I am calling an OWN GOAL BY MINNESOTA.
Alright real time review. The beginning part is fucked up. Obviously including the daughter. But really the rest of the movie wasn't what I thought it would be? I was expecting Exorcist level nonsense and this was pretty predictable. Dunno. 3* out of 5 at best. Gimmie Michael Myers or something.
