I'm not saying this is the thing 100% of the time but so often if you peel back 'AI' boosterism you will find just weird unresolved resentment or frustration around learning things. Eg: someone on here describing learning to draw as a form of 'hazing'.

The unions. DGA. WGA. SAG. IATSE. We need to stand up for the jobs of those in the adjacent unions. No AI to replace actors. No AI to replace crew. No AI writing in scripts. No AI to replace VFX artists. AI tools only and only tools that facilitate jobs, not replace them. Together we can do this.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.
This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.
It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.
