And with the deal, both Microsoft and Nvidia are both investing in Anthropic

In yesterday's Odd Lots newsletter, I wrote about the book that I've recommended to more people than any other, and which has incredible things to say about digital media, despite having been published 40 years ago

New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani's democratic socialist views spark fears companies and capital will flee, but top real estate CEOs say it's not true.

Every country used pep pills! There were so many amphetamines swirling around the Allies that college students in the 1940s regularly took them when cramming for exams
"Hitler's hordes have their shots-in-the-arm, their energizers, their pep pills!" I'm fascinated that this was widely enough known that you could put it in an ad.

yeah I've always just assumed it's pronounced like the French flag
Although @robarmstrong.bsky.social has demonstrated a good French accent - he has fumbled with "Tricolor" in recent months.

I think @weisenthal.bsky.social showed the way channeling his inner Frenchman, with an unmistakable "Tricolore" (like the French flag or Montreal Canadiens)
