So cool to have access to these shared attention signals.
This is only the start but I can already feel the collective intelligence emerging.

Really fun metacollection pattern by @hilarybaumann.com until we have both Semble account and collection following!

This does in fact get a little circular and confusing BUT I did actually want to bookmark certain accounts so I could come back and look at their collections.

Chatted with an OG Internet guy at the @atproto.boston meetup today.
Asked him about the last time he saw so much community excitement and engagement for a protocol.
He said http and html.

Strong agree! @bmann.ca is a mycelial mastermind and we're grateful to be working together
"This kind of thing doesn't just happen! It's because good, passionate people show up and put in work." @pfrazee.com is spot on. @bmann.ca did such an amazing job of bringing people together and facilitating action. Deep appreciation.
Overwhelming to hear about how much the AT community showed up today at IETF. I wish I could've been there.
I'm sure many people deserve special thanks, but I do want to highlight @bmann.ca for helping to get people there. I feel so fortunate to be a part of such a great group of people.

Time to de-enshittify research publishing
I see a huge opportunity for how the AT Protocol could reshape academic publishing. Imagine researchers publishing continuously and atomically — before, during, and after research projects — in public connected continuous streams of discovery and insight.
Some notes on how we can make Leaflet more useful for scientists and academic communities — touching on things like annotation, standalone doc publishing, new block types, post reactions, references & backlinks…

while there is a place for full lexicon adoption across apps, ingesting records of related lexicons and translating them to app specific lexicons will cover a lot of interop use-cases. I.e. "community.lexicon.bookmarks.bookmark" -> "network.cosmik.card"
Which still enables "PDS as universal API"
Which still enables "PDS as universal API"
I'm planning to publish a leaflet about our lexicons soon, which will hopefully clarify and progress the discussion. The community bookmarks lexicon doesn't work for our use-cases, but we are happy and excited to support the lexicon as a plugin weswalla.leaflet.pub/3m3au34v5ms2m

@hyl.st hacks strikes again! the auth flow in extensions is a very tough nut to crack, folks working on atproto web extensions def look into this!
i got it working!! the callback page redirects to the chromiumapps.org url required by the extension
fair fair
are you building the extension on a framework like wxt?

This is such a paradigm shift for developers and the more ppl wrap their head around this the more we’ll see cool stuff being built!
I just love how this works without there needing to be a Frontpage API
