It's almost time to change the clocks again.

As a reminder, the BC NDP government's own survey found that 93% of BCers want to scrap #DaylightSavingTime, yet the @bcndpcaucus.bsky.social has dithered for 6 years.

A rando cool thing I learned while reporting this: There's no such thing as cold!

There's only heat, & heat's absence.

You can push heat into a space. To cool it down, you suck the heat out.

eg - an ice cube doesn't project cold into your glass of water. Instead, it absorbs the whiskey's warmth.

Once again, folks: any deal between Alberta and Ottawa that requires a) BC's approval, and b) significant support from coastal First Nations is a deal for a pipeline that will never happen.

If Carney can get Smith to agree to ratchet up industrial carbon pricing in exchange? That feels like a win.

One of the reasons I love live call-in radio shows is for moments like this.

Poor Richard thought he was talking to a call screener.

He was actually talking live on air to Alberta At Noon host @kathleenpetty.bsky.social, who gently and professionally nudged him toward that realization.

Also, the @ewgofficial.bsky.social publishes the Dirty Dozen, letting you know which non-organic produce has the most #pesticides:

Now Marco Rubio says it's all wrong, that's not the plan, there's no deadline and no threat.
