Halloween is almost upon us so I'm going to post some MONSTERS! Here's one of my contributions to the themonsterproject.org, a project where kids create hundreds of monsters & artists from all over the world put their spin on them.

The depth of the shame of a country this wealthy and abundant allowing its people to go hungry is impossible to measure. The fact that a handful of people could fix this by paying their fair share of taxes while still remaining obscenely wealthy makes it even worse.

I can't share the example but it was supposed to represent information going through a process that made it more transparent...but the picture made it look still confusing!!

Something that always bothers me is when someone uses AI to create an image that is meant to say something...and it clearly missed the mark. Before a graphic designer would be hired and given notes so it would meet the brief...but people just pass off the AI imagine even if it's clearly flawed

It's the time of the monsters!
IT'S THE TIME OF THE MONSTERS Frankenstein and the vampire sit at a bar drinking. "Pffft," says the vampire. "You call THEM monsters? In my day you were CURSED to walk among the nightmares! You barely have to PAY these people!" Frankenstein puts an arm around his buddy. "Me buy candy." "Where is the imagination," the vampire says, "where is the pride in craft?" "Cost THIS MUCH" says Frankenstein, holding out his hands. "You used to pick a target and spend WEEKS bewitching them," the vampire says. "My say - AM ON PACKAGE" says Frankenstein, his eyes wide. "But I guess the ol' vampire bit just doesn't SCALE!" Yells the vampire. Frankenstein puts his head down. "No recognize." "Give me Booberry over one hundred ICE agents every day," the vampire continues, "he might not have scared too many kids, but that was a guy you could count on to pick you up after a colonoscopy!" Later they both sing tearfully, arm in arm, to the Monster Mash. The vampire sniffs and puts on his coat. Frankenstein checks his phone as they head out of the bar. "The world is a scary place" says the vampire, heading into the dark. "Should give Booberry a call," says Frankenstein.
