Doing my strategic xmas holiday planning. For 6 days of holidays I can have 22nd-5th off. Almost 2 weeks without having to turn on the work laptop. I might even make a dent in my Steam backlog (or procrastinate on what to play for the entire 13 days before realising it is time to go back).

Considering my entire Steam friends list was on Arc Raiders I broke my "don't spend more than 20 bucks on a video game rule". I fully expect it to dramatically drop in the Steam charts as everyone immediately loses interest in it on hearing I've bought it. #videogames

New style guide dropped.

Instead of saying, "the other site," please use "the Nazi site."

So the sentence, "over on the other site," becomes "I'm enabling Nazis by using the Nazi site."

Hey, asking for a friend (America): Has removing a government social program and giving money direct to people to purchase the service from the private sector ever resulted in anything other than increased prices and worse service? What does collective purchasing power even mean?

The only feature I want from Bluesky is that when someone kicks off a trend, such as "post a pic with your foot in it from 2003" or whatever, I can immediately mute all quotes and variations. Yes, I hate fun. Why do you ask?
