The only feature I want from Bluesky is that when someone kicks off a trend, such as "post a pic with your foot in it from 2003" or whatever, I can immediately mute all quotes and variations. Yes, I hate fun. Why do you ask?

Went to an exhibition of various models and sets made by stop-motion studio Laika at the miniature museum in Lyon. The amount of effort that goes into making these films is overwhelming. The thought that any of this could be replaced by generative AI is ludicrous.

That AI pic of the lad up the ladder with the cat had a lot of people asking, "Where in Dublin is that?" knowing no such place existed, but it took a very long time before people rightly started calling it out as slop. We're not ready for this shit. History and reality are going to be whittled away.
