Only half-joking, but Minnesota should secede and join Canada. They deserve much, much better than this federal government.

The peak of my Sixers’ fandom. Horny, Hawk, and ‘Nute.

The fellas.
January 20, 1993: Philadelphia's Manute Bol blocks Rony Seikaly of Miami at the rim.

Bol had 5 BLK, Jeff Hornacek had 27 PTS/6 AST, and Hersey Hawkins scored 23 PTS in the 76ers' 115-112 win. Seikaly finished with a game-high 28 PTS/17 REB for the Heat.

Thinking the AFC winner may be the weakest Super Bowl rep since that ‘94 Chargers team. I’m sure I’m forgetting a few but let’s go with that.

The number of E-ZPass tickets I get out of state is astounding. Did the states band together and decide to screw everyone ?

Sixers also coughed up one to really hammer the nail home.

Navy has won 10 games in back-to-back years for the first time ever, and tonight's bowl win over Cincinnati ties a school record with 11 wins.

This 21-5 stretch includes wins over Oklahoma, Cincinnati, Memphis (x2), USF (x2) and Army (x2).

Bama will not be dropping in the rankings thanks to their impressive stretch in October.

December 27, 1994: San Antonio's Moses Malone plays in what would be the final game of his NBA career at age 39, and throws in a 75-foot shot at the end of the first quarter.

The Spurs defeated the Charlotte Hornets, 119-108.

My favorite movie is on AMC

“How’s the boy?”

“He saved his life.”

It kills me

Think the NFL has a real back-up QB problem. They’re all completely dreadful.

Back in *my day*, there were Vince Evans’ and Scott Mitchells’ and a Ken O’Brien or two who could keep offenses afloat.

When I’m asked — and I’m asked often — to name my three favorite Sixers ever, I always list Dana Barros. They assume I’m joking.

I assure you I’m not.
December 22, 1995: Boston’s Dana Barros sets an NBA record by making a 3-point shot in his 80th consecutive game.

Barros’ final mark of 89 straight games with a made 3-pointer would stand for nearly 18 years (it was broken in 2013 by Kyle Korver).

Celtics 114, Timberwolves 113.
