Here for the Dana Barros talk. Staying for the Willie Burton discourse.

Wrote a few books to marginal acclaim. I curl 🥌
My favorite movie is on AMC

“How’s the boy?”

“He saved his life.”

It kills me

Think the NFL has a real back-up QB problem. They’re all completely dreadful.

Back in *my day*, there were Vince Evans’ and Scott Mitchells’ and a Ken O’Brien or two who could keep offenses afloat.

What’s with these diners still trotting out these orange marmalade packets?

Give it up.

Born 12/22/1958, today is Glenn Wilson's 67th birthday! Glenn drove in 102 runs and was an All Star for the Phillies in 1985. "Glennbo" was known for his strong throwing arm and one of the greatest photoshoots ever.

When I’m asked — and I’m asked often — to name my three favorite Sixers ever, I always list Dana Barros. They assume I’m joking.

I assure you I’m not.
December 22, 1995: Boston’s Dana Barros sets an NBA record by making a 3-point shot in his 80th consecutive game.

Barros’ final mark of 89 straight games with a made 3-pointer would stand for nearly 18 years (it was broken in 2013 by Kyle Korver).

Celtics 114, Timberwolves 113.

1) Love that this game aired on Sports Channel

2) Looked clean. Hammer didn’t touch ‘em
December 18, 1993: New Jersey’s Armon Gilliam is ejected after a flagrant foul that emptied Indiana's bench.

Gilliam was fined $7,500. Pacers players Antonio Davis, Vern Fleming, Sam Mitchell, Byron Scott & Kenny Williams were also fined for leaving the bench area.

Walker danced like me after an open bar wedding.
December 11, 2001: The Celtics' Antoine Walker forces overtime against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

Walker finished with 42 PTS/9 REB/9 AST in Boston’s 102-93 overtime win. Latrell Sprewell scored 49 PTS for New York.

We are one good Covey return and a long PI penalty away from winning 19-16.

The offense isn’t going to suddenly wake up, so I’m holding out for a pick 6 or three.
December 9, 2025 at 2:56 AM
Only thing this offense is missing is a Quez Watkins bubble screen.

I do appreciate ND spared from me having to watch the 2025 version of the Copper Bowl.
Yep. Makes sense. I get that rationale obviously, but it would be dirty to flip them at the end with both teams out of games.

Would be hard to muster up the energy to watch ND/and the 6th ranked Big 12 Team in like the Copper Bowl.
December 8, 2025 at 2:15 AM
Notre Dame dropped two spots across two weeks while on a ten game winning streak.
December 7, 2025 at 5:36 PM
Man, ND was -1800 to make playoffs this morning.
