Stede often thinks back on that night in the top. Unfamiliar and soft leather on his skin, warm brandy on his tongue, the smell of spiced tobacco permeating every breath. It was as if the sea had risen with them when Ed's waves caught the moonlight just right. They still do.

Yesterday, a person named Skunk who does sideshow performing shoved a nail in their nostril as part of their tip for their coffee. Today, a guy complimented my rainbow sweater and said his nephew was just down the road getting top surgery, so that made him happy to see.
