Hot take: Leftist politics on social media is sloppy and bad. I wonder; How much of it is driven by bots, algorithmic manipulation, and dark money?

Because, it doesn't seem to have a lot of consistency or usefulness.
It's AI, and they're locked into a 10 year contract.
About time for a re-read.
I need a couple of Lightning cables, so I asked Amazon about cables I've ordered before—by typing "lightning" into the search box for past orders.

Yeah, I've bought cables a few times…

but my search also turned up @adapalmer.bsky.social's novel, TOO LIKE THE LIGHTNING, which I pre-ordered in 2016!
This will become the new standard for athleticism in major league baseball. The number of double plays will tank.

A thread. Also the original Lawfare story is worth a read.
This shows in so many ways Halligan is unsuited to be United States Dogcatcher, let alone United States Attorney. She writes a reporter whining about reporting but not offering any actionable specific things the reporter got wrong. There's NO WAY that helps anything.

I mean is that level of tinting even street legal in California? How are you supposed to know you're being pursued by law enforcement, and not being chased by some one having a psychotic break and a bad case of road rage?
Before detaining community advocate Leonardo, ICE was caught on film rear-ending his truck, and L.A. TACO is sharing the dash cam footage for the first time.

Question for #STSSKY I was hoping to find a nice little corpus of primary texts by American technologists and innovators like Hollerith, Hooper, Bush, etc. discussing issues related to American Democracy, or American Society. Would anyone know of either a collection, or have some suggestions?

Of course women don't like the Cybertruck.

Women only want one thing, and it's the Immolator pattern armoured assault transport.
It's a little late to be posting this, but consider leaving your smart devices and phones at home or in a faraday bag if you're going out to protest this weekend.

It's estimated that there will be tens of thousands attendees at the No Kings Protest on Saturday around Southern California, and it's important to protect your community by reviewing your rights and being prepared in case violence breaks out.

Anyway, I swear there is another great article about mustard BBQ sauce in either the New Yorker or the Atlantic, but I am having trouble finding it. The article I shared is good, just not what I remember reading several years ago.

I have also been through a weird fluke to the Edisto River Creamery & Kitchen mentioned in the article... which was very weird.
