The social media ban was always just the govt doing something to look like it was doing something.

That it was being pushed by media and FM hosts was a major 🚩

There is no success/fail test that the ban is being judged by, but we do have a shirt load of vibes.

The Metro Tunnel timetables have been published... it's a big boost for some stations, trains doubling in frequency in some cases. This is a good start at providing a frequent network across more of #Melbourne. State govt needs to keep the upgrades coming.

As a long time Vegetarian, I've had many different vege burgers at various restaurants.

When one local fast food chain switched from their in house patty to an impossible/beyond meat patty it made the burger taste worse. Ended up switching to their mushroom burger if friends wanted to eat there.
The problem with impossible burgers is simple: the best veggie burgers all look and taste like veggie burgers, you can see bits of veggie in them, etc

The market for people who want to not eat meat, but pretend to, is tiny

This is why Beyond Meat is going bankrupt

Can’t, because #TransportVictoria doesn’t have sufficient API capacity on AWS. Embarrassing.

The state of Victoria is on fire.

From the Alps to the Central Highlands to the Great Ocean Road.

From the far east near Mallacoota (again!), to the far west with bad fires at Natimuk and Wyperfeld.

Stay safe friends and stay angry at the climate criminals.

Much cooler this morning in Melbourne, but the air outside smells very ashy.
Lots of alerts for trees down near my local area over the past hour or so due to the strong winds.

Bushfires and strong winds don't mix.

It hit 42.7°C (over 108.8°F) not too long ago. Dry heat (11% humidity) and high UV index. Not a great day to be outside.

Cool change expected in a few hours.

The Kia EV2 can be optioned for 22kW AC charging on 3 phase (or 11kW as standard).

For city cars, especially for those who don't have home charging, 22kW seems ideal it means you can do quick top ups throughout the week when you go shopping etc with Type 2/AC chargers.
