It’s the “season of love and giving”…but this year, doesn’t it seem more like a “season of fear and taking”? Like many of you, I’ve been saddened by the human impact of draconian government budget cuts and how angry many housed Americans are at unhoused Americans.

I cannot state any more baldly or clearly than I already have about what an immense menace RFK Jr. is. The number of preventable illnesses and deaths - of *babies* - will be horrific. This anti-vax crap is grotesque anti-science, and always has been.

This administration’s primary goal and guiding light, from trans care to vaccines to genocide to food stamps to the environment to to to to, is killing children.

In general I’m in the “don’t make fun of appearances” camp but fascists are clowns and they deserve to be—MUST BE—laughed at. They want to present an impenetrable, inevitable front; I think it’s fine to be like “yeah you are human and also evil and that’s not good for the soul or the skin.”
I know some of you think it's the righteous thing to do to not to make fun of these pictures in vanity Fair, but the cruelty that this administration puts out deserves to get it back.

i understand that "tech ceos don't value child development" is like the least surprising statement but the truly astonishing part of this clip for me comes earlier when altman says that chatgpt is a genius so he feels really bad when he asks it questions about stupid things, like parenting
