Mango is 90% back to normal! She has regained all the weight she lost, she is more active, stable, and vocal. I think the only difference still noticeable is that she continues to nap often. Hopefully she keeps improving! Still waiting on the Bornavirus test results. Thank you for your support 💖🦜

Finished up by fun warm-up dragon I was working on at FC! ✨This piece is partially the result of a red posca eruption, made into a happy accident by me picking up a cheap plastic knife that was nearby and combing the paint into some cool textures, then working from there.

A crow kicks a small ball of snow. They then start rolling it into a larger ball while saying "trust the process...". They kick more snow into a pile and stick a branch in repeating "trust the process" to itself. They place small stones. They say "Phew!" and stand back to look at its creation, which we see now is a mess of a project that looks somewhat like a melted bird. The final panel the crow says "haha it's terrible".

Holly bear running away from last year's snake which is hissing and tail rattling angrily, covered in little snake bites she crosses the path marker leading from 2025 to 2026. 'Well... that was a pretty crazy year' she says while making her way forward. Stopping for a moment in 2026 Holly bear gestures hopelessly with her paws, looking concerned and sleep deprived says: 'The world has been so tumultuous, to the point where my own personal struggles don't feel like they matter much' Holly bear shrugs, scratching her head ruefully saying 'Surely things can't get any more wild and chaotic'. She is unaware of the large horse galloping up behind her at high speed. Seeming to become aware of something approaching and unable to turn in time Holly says: 'Right?' in a wavering voice, her expression full of false hope and nervousness as that dark horse quickly moves within trampling distance. The hot air from it's snort hitting her back.

New paper: hold my beer

Birds are very eye-dependent and eyes usually require a bunch of energy (and oxygen to metabolize it). Bird retinas run oxygen-free though, perhaps to fly extremely high (low O2)!
