First phase of EU ban of Russian gas will begin on Jan. 1, 2026 with a grace period for existing contracts: short term contracts concluded before June 17, 2025 can run until June 17, 2026, and long-term contracts until Jan. 1, 2028.
Only Russia friendly Hungary and Slovakia refused to back the bill.

Pictures are Terrible cause it was just on my phone, it's past midnight & I couldn't use flash or proper zoom so it's just ambient light (doesn't look like it in the photo's, but it's fairly dark) & digital zoom. Hence why s/he's a blurry mess.

Just saw a fox. I was putting the bin out before bed & it was sitting on the pavement fairly near the front door. (far enough away to feel safe) Waited for me to go & get my phone then let me take pics, then backed off when I put the bin out, but came back when I went back in. @retroid.bsky.social
