I'm a soft touch on wanting people to be welcomed in/forgiven but even that doesn't extend this far. You need to do more than forgive yourself and blame others, which isn't a high bar.

This idea of a nazi phase circulates from time to time but what I've never been clear on is what exact shape that's expected to take. Is the average guy that gets deep into WW2 going through a Nazi phase? Because most of them are deep into Wehrmacht shit

For a friend's bachelor's party I ran a relatively brief game of "Fellas is it gay" by @ashthestampede.bsky.social and boy was it delightful. As soon as one of the fellas got "sailing underneath the Colossus of Rhodes" down as not gay it unlocked an entire world of whimsy
