Please remember that many disabled people won’t be at the No Kings rallies tomorrow.

A lot of the planned events are not accessible and/or disabled people are not safe or well enough to attend.

Anything you can do to increase accessibility and inclusion will help the resistance!

“The rule is likely to be the largest-ever cut to Social Security Disability Insurance.”
Despite repeatedly promising not to cut Social Security, the Trump Admin is reportedly preparing a proposed rule that could reduce the share of applicants who qualify for Social Security Disability Insurance by up to 20%--which would be the largest cut ever. 🧵

On the eve of these protests, I wish I could be in large crowds without it sending me into a grand mal seizure.

For everyone held back by disability or other circumstances, your activism doesn't mean less if you can't attend.

Send postcards, make phone calls, speak up.

You still matter.

Feeling powerless? Prop 50 is the fight that actually matters. Republicans are rewriting the rules to silence voters and steal seats, but we can stop them—for now. This is our chance to push back, protect our voices, and prove resistance works. Vote #YESonProp50 and reclaim control.

Whoa‼️ Dems could lose 19 seats due to GOP gerrymandering.

CA, UT & MD can’t fight fire with fire alone. Other blue states must step up, and every Democrat needs to vote. Don’t sit out any election.

Push your governors and legislators to act. Tell friends and family to vote. Help them. #YesOnProp50

California voters, are you paying attention?

North Carolina Republicans are redrawing the map to hand Trump another seat. They’re bragging about locking down Congress for him.

Prop 50 isn’t optional, it’s how we fight back. #YesOnProp50

Saw a take that was essentially "people on disability can't attend conventions."

I am not sure if they meant people receiving disability payments, or people who are disabled, or both? But let's parse that out.

1. "Disability" payments are not always SSI. 1/

Sci fi / horror conventions are requiring masks in 2025 but disability related conferences continue to refuse to consider masks & some even refuse to have virtual options

If you refuse to accommodate #immunocompromised people, you’re not as “inclusive” / “accessible” as you think you are

Vaccines are safe and effective.

Autism isn't caused by vaccines, and autistic people and their families deserve our support.

When you want information, ask your doctor.

It's more important than ever for all of us to speak plainly, truthfully, and directly about public health.

Always fun to see a flood of replies arguing that these random Jewish people deserved it "because Israel". 🙄

As if these poor souls had even the slightest shred of influence over anything that Netanyahu says or does.

If you think British Jews are responsible for the actions of Netanyahu then you share the same platform as those who think British Muslims are responsible for the actions of ISIS.
