Banning depictions of fictional non-con is not protecting survivors—it’s erasing hard conversations, stigmatizing writers, and flattening art into PR-safe mush. Fiction is where we wrestle with the dark, not where we hide from it.

BlueSky, if you ban content beyond what the law already covers, that is censorship. Banning difficult topics and enabling purity culture does not create a safer space or healthy conversations, there is research to show just the opposite.

It would definitely be more like in-detail research on certain franchises, if theyre going to be affected or not," Balderas said.

Balderas said he has already pulled some volumes of the popular Japanese comic, Dragon Ball Z, from his shelves due to concerns that the main character had been shown naked as a child in earlier issues. He said the depictions are very rare in earlier issues, and he believes it was done for comedic effect. Still, he felt it was better to be on the safe side.

Woke up to quite the update on this. I had been in contact with Payment Cloud about getting their service and they waited until now to hit me with the image below. Again, stringing me along instead of being upfront. They had seen my website multiple times before this.

An image taken from an e-mail from Payment Cloud to me. They list prohibited adult work, one of which just includes "Fantasy" which is as wide as cat ears and fairies. We are so cooked.

On August 29th, the De Minimis exception will be lifted in the U.S. This means that any package imported into the U.S., regardless of cost, even if it’s a $2 sticker, could incur up to a $200 tariff fee. This is big.
