I still can't believe it's over. Even if it hadn't done such wonderful things with Escapade, a character who is super close to my heart, it would have been a vitally important piece of queer storytelling in these dark times.

Numbers go up as the world becomes more accepting then goes down with the increase in hostility towards said group. Even a 5 year old can see and understand that pattern. It's amazing how much hate can blind people from the truth
glad to see this "study" is being debunked, but I want to point out the double bind at work behind the scenes here: for years, anti-trans activists pointed to any increases as signs of "social contagion" (read: these kids aren't "really trans"). but then, if or when the numbers ever go down...

Turning Point USA made a literal watch list of professors, primarily women, queer folks and people of color, and made us targets of political violence. I’ve received hate mail and harassment and death threats off and on for nearly a decade in part due to that man’s organization so 🤷🏽♀️
