I know it’s marred in controversy now but Annie Hall was one of my favorite movies and a formulative one in my 20s. I loved Diane Keaton as a professional more than most will ever know… she was a top 3 in my book up there with Hepburn and Streep.

I’ll miss her dearly but love the impact had on life

“This one time, I was walking this very street and a guy and I thought we saw Robert Kirkman. Then he turned around and said… oh shit. Is that him? No way.”

And surely enough at that same spot… few seconds later.

Lightning strikes twice I guess.

#Comics folks, I need you to pull up to this one.

The world sucks right now, and we have the opportunity to do a little bit of good for a displaced and marginalized member of our community. Please join me in supporting this KS campaign!

www.kickstarter.com/projects/den...
If you're somebody who values supporting marginalized voices in comics, here's your chance to put your money where your values are!

The writer of this RINGO NOM’D INDIE COMIC (and a very dear friend of mine) is a Syrian Refugee who has been through more continuous hardships than I have space to list here; constantly navigating visa applications, unstable living conditions, predatory landlords (limited options as a refugee).

Anas just wants to make comics and live a normal life like what so many of us take for granted. Backing this campaign will help Anas to take the next step toward freedom and autonomy, helping to fund a move to another country with more stable employment options. This is truly one of the most important comics purchases you will ever make.

Middle Eastern and North African comics creators are some of the most underrepresented in the comics industry of the western world. Anas isn’t running a GoFundMe to support this move, and is not asking for charity. Simply, Anas is using their talent for storytelling, along with Dennis’ gorgeous art, to offer you a beautiful experience in the comics medium, that also goes toward funding a better life for Anas.

I’m so proud of Anas, and humbled by their experiences and perseverance. I would like to see Anas’ Dream realized, and I’d love to see this community help to make that happen. Please join me in pledging to the Etheres Kickstarter campaign! (link below). Etheres cover B

Bray is a historian at Rutgers who received death threats after landing on Turning Points USA's Professor Watchlist. As a result, he announced he was moving to Europe. And then this happened.

This kind of harassment and abuse of scholars is Charlie Kirk's legacy and it's only getting worse.

“Someone” cancelled my family’s flight out of the country at the last second.

We got our boarding passes. We checked our bags. Went through security. Then at our gate our reservation ‘disappeared.’

This time around I really went out there besides just the big 2. Spent way too much money. Doing my best to spread comics to folks interested but haven’t read em.

Is it funny that for my pop up store

I bought copies of Action Bible

To put next to

Covenant Volume 1.

Nothing says open your perspective like putting comics about the Bible next to comics about queer action priests.

And now they're seeing fire. And it's like 'oh it's a smol fire, not in my room' or they don't see the fire because it's not in their room so whatever

MAYBE THIS TIME WE LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE WHO ARE ALWAYS THE FIRST TO SAY SOMETHING SO WE CAN FIX SHIT INSTEAD OF IT TURNING TO SHIT

Just a thought.

This is due to a law signed by Ronald Reagan and has nothing to do with this shutdown fight.

But consider this...

Emergency Medicaid spending in 2023 cost $3.8 billion — just 0.4% of total Medicaid spending.

Now what about the $20 billion taxpayers are giving to Argentina?
