The horror stories rolling in from Minnesota are just the tip of the iceberg. This 20-year-old, who's lawfully present in the country, was arrested for being Latino, then jailed in a filthy cell where he couldn't even sit down. 18 days of illegal detention. democracyforward.org/wp-content/u...

CBS pulling @jamestalarico.bsky.social’s interview from The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is alarming and nothing short of censorship. Full breakdown on my Substack page (link below).

The Chief Justice of the United States will literally change the rules of the Supreme Court of the United States instead of divesting in individual stocks.
NEW: The Supreme Court will begin requiring litigants in March to list the stock ticker for each party involved in a case to make it easier to check if a justice has a conflict of interest that might require recusal. #SCOTUS

Casting a vote in a polling station is a constitutionally protected right.

Murdering people in cold blood in the street is not.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, Mr. Emmer.
Emmer: "Another reform they claim they want is they want ICE agents to identify themselves, to show identification. But they don't want identification for voters in elections. I mean, this stuff is just intellectually inconsistent."

I'm sure at some point CBS News will run a piece about Colbert, but a newsroom that wanted to show its independence from the administration would have gone all in the story of the FCC censorship. OTOH CBS agreed to a govt-appointed monitor to vet their news. www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/bus...

CBS is officially over the air state media.

It’s FOX News or NEWSMAX without needing a cable subscription.

A pillar of American journalism has fallen and become a propaganda arm of the regime, and outside of us terminally online, I’m not sure “normies” even realize it.

To me, that’s frightening.

Ossoff: "Among today's false prophets are the election deniers who indulge this president's obsession with overturning the 2020 election. Hear me when I say this -- they tell a lie so absurd, and therefore so debasing, that the act of telling it proves the teller's total and humiliating submission."

Complaining that following the Constitution will stop you from doing the thing you want to do is... an admission that what you want to do is unconstitutional.

You swore an oath to defend the Constitution. You are violating that oath, Rep. Alford. Time to go home and let someone else do the job.

Adam’s right. It’s more important than ever that our institutions defend First Amendment rights, and that means not firing teachers illegally whether their offense was “Go ICE” or saying something less than hagiographical about Charlie Kirk. Fewer people want to hear that in ugly times.
