It's so weird that people are talking about Lando Norris being a 'new kind' of champion, because he's nice and races fairly. Hamilton developed a harder edge, but he was the same during his first title. Are people so used to Max being a colossal dick that they've forgotten that isn't the default?

I think it's a sign that I might actually just be over F1, because that was a good season with a close finish, and I just didn't care about any of it. It just doesn't interest me in the way that WEC, IMSA, WRC, and the various regional endurance series do.

I first watched Noelle a couple of years ago and it's now firmly in my top five Christmas films. Anna Kendrick's delivery is always so funny, and it's from just before films started looking flat and lifeless.

We're watching a terrible Christmas film and Aunt Zelda from Sabrina is in it (Beth Broderick, not the actual witch), and she's had so much Botox that she literally cannot move her face. It's really off-putting.

What I find odd about this: it's basically a Christmas gift list, and is therefore Waterstones' opportunity to promote books. So why not tell people about SF novels they may not have heard of? It's not like they have limited space, they could easily have recommended another five or ten books.
