Texans! ASSEMBLE!
FOLKS NEED TO REALIZE HOW HUGE THIS IS

For the first time in modern Texas history, Dems have candidates running in every state and federal race on the 2026 ballot.

That includes all congressional seats, every state House and state Senate race, plus statewide judicial and State Board of Education.

Overthrowing a government without a declaration of war or AUMF from Congress is a blatant violation of Article I, Section 8, as well as War Powers and other laws, and oh yeah, the UN charter.
But we all know Congress is too busy sucking his dick to impeach him.

So last night, Dear Leader overthrew a sovereign nation's government to avoid releasing the unredacted Epstein files.

Start here. Follow through to the end for the Oh Hell Yes moment.
Jack Kirby's boyhood home, in what was then the squalid Lower East Tenement District. Still standing. The brick building, 147 Essex St.

"I hated the place," remembered Kirby.

Lee: As a Black woman, there’s no way I don’t have hope. I’ve seen a lot in my life, and we have these moments of backward steps. But we have hope. I see hope. I see our young people—they have hope. I see them fighting hard for our democracy and for a better life.

What I'm trying to get across is that even though you can't do what you used to do the way you used to do it, you still can do it. You have to find new ways. Understand where you are now: what your limitations are, so you can test them; and what your strengths are, so you can best use them.
I just caught up on Magical Women and I like it. Think you're too old and broken to go out and kick ass like you did as a teenager? Well you are. So go kick ass the way you can right now. Rose is doing it. Go on. Get out there. Save the world. Scoot.
Magical Women is a comic about what happens when the bad guys won the war and now all the magical girls are middle aged. Can fascism be undone by a divorced retail worker? Read every W&F on MagicalWomenComic.com

Strange takes on Mayor Zamdani swearing his oath on the Qu’ran. It has nothing to do with church & state. The point of the oath is for the person swearing in to do so upon some text that is sacred TO THEM. Some Presidents swore in w/o any book. John Quincy Adams was sworn on a law book. His choice.

Goddamn right.
*This* is America.
“Can’t believe NYC elected a Muslim as mayor.”

In truth—a Black American Christian woman swearing in a Ugandan American Muslim of South Asian ethnicity as his Syrian American wife holds the Qurans he swears in on, all while standing on the steps of a subway station—is the most NYC thing imaginable.

The road ahead may be challenging, but 2025 showed us that change is possible when we stand together.

Fuck it. Every time I start, I go off and my point gets muddled.
Short and sweet is, I see great harm being done, very dogmatic people perpetrating and perpetuating it, and everyone who speaks against it being portrayed as racist terrorists.
That's it. That's the spirit of genocide, Charlie Brown.
So much to say on this. More after I sort my thoughts.

Rumour has it that in 2016, when so many artists were C&Ding the Trump campaign over unauthorised use, Living Colour actually offered them Cult of Personality. The rumour alleges the offer was turned down, not because someone read the lyrics, but because the band is black.

Yes. We know this strategy is effective because the culture warriors have been using it to influence school curricula, library contents, and local ordinances. We also know that they have been losing their grip. Push back. Take it from them. Vote.

Renee Hardman didn’t just win Iowa Senate District 16—she crushed it with 71.5% of the vote. That’s a massive 27-point overperformance. By flipping this seat, she officially shattered the GOP supermajority and became the first Black woman ever elected to the Iowa Senate.
