Today’s footpaths announcement is very welcome news and will ensure many miles of ancient paths are recorded, thereby preserving their use for future generations.

Much more needs to be done to allow for responsible access across England - both on land and water.

It's Wren Day or Hunt The Wren Day. Wrenboys caught a wren & placed it on top of a staff decorated with holly, ivy, ribbons, & paraded it around the neighbourhood. The wrenboys were typically dressed in straw masks, greenery or colourful clothing; sang songs & played music for money to bury the wren

Sherlock Holmes from the ‘Drama Through the Ages’ frieze designed by Gilbert Bayes for the Saville Theatre in Shaftesbury Avenue. This was an Odeon for many years, standing empty for now.
