Yes! More stories of people using the Beltline for commutes and errands!

It’s important for people to understand the Beltline isn’t just a park - people actually use it for productivity and not just leisure!

Y'all — As a journalist covering global health and environmental disparities, I've lived in Atlanta car-free since 2018 because that is the easiest way to put my money where my mouth is!

I am organizing a half-marathon length bike ride to support my newsroom, and I'd love for you to be my sponsor:

Do we have to blow leaves before 7:30am on a pseudo-holiday when we just did it literally two days ago??

I didn’t realize Culdesac was still coming to Atlanta after the Murphy Crossing stuff blew up
Density without height works.

We’re bringing attainable homeownership to SW Atlanta with 1-bed townhomes starting in the $190Ks—just a short walk to MARTA and the BeltLine.

This is what people-first, walkable development looks like.

Like its not a coincidence that the area that has a big NIMBY fight about more transit on the beltline elected @kelseabondatl.bsky.social overwhelmingly. We are being gas lit by a minority and by business to try to kill beltline rail. We want this kind of infrastructure. Its good for Atlantans.

Very excited to see what you all come up with for this: As we look at the future of MARTA, @ajc.com wants to see your MARTA dream map. Take this image, draw the rail or BRT lines you’d like to see and then send it back to us. We plan on featuring maps in future coverage: www.ajc.com/news/2025/10...

GDOT: C’mon, just FOUR more lanes, bro.
And they’re tolled, so they’re not for the poors.
And buses can use them, so that ACKSHULLY makes this a transit project.
And we’re very proud of that.
