It often feels like I got into cybersecurity late. I dedicated my life to classical music and only swapped to cybersecurity a couple of years ago. I adore it and the infinite well of knowledge there is to learn, but it's so daunting seeing how much more people 10 years younger than me know.

These "anti-porn" laws are thinly veiled attempts for the government to tighten there control on the internet, silence rhetoric they disagree with, and monitor civilians' lives even more than they already do. And sex workers get hurt in the crossfire, forcing many to turn to dangerous alternatives.
This made me cry tonight. I knew it would be unsafe for me to get an "X" as my passport gender marker, but not even being able to now has officially broken my heart.
Per the Guardian, The US state department has frozen all applications for passports with “X” sex markers and changes to gender identity on existing passports, following a new executive order signed by Donald Trump on his first day of office.
